The course which is a nationally accredited program under the health training package, covered comprehensive first aid management and early intervention strategies, from casualty assessment and incident management through to legal obligations.

During the course, participants learned techniques, such as the use of an automated external (AED) defibrillator, as well as advanced resuscitation and equipment skills, expertly facilitated by Rescue 1 trainer Terry Urquhart.

The club wished to thank Tennis Queensland for the funding, all participants and Patrick from Shanti Cafe who supplied the delicious wraps.

Mission Beach Tennis Club has social games on Wednesday mornings from 8am and Sunday afternoons from 3pm. Families are most welcome to join in.
