The play retains the essence of the original story while infusing it with uniquely Australian elements, making it both familiar and refreshingly new.

This entertaining experience is for audiences of all ages and tells the story of Alice, a curious young girl, who falls down a Darney Hole and finds herself in a whimsical Australian Wonderland.

Once there, she must navigate a series of absurd adventures and eccentric characters to discover who she truly is.

From a rave tea party hosted by Hattie the Mad Hatter and the March Fly to the trial of the Mitchie who is accused of stealing the Queen’s tarts, Alice must use her wits to navigate this strange world.

The play, proudly presented by Mission Arts Theatre Ensemble (MATES) will run over two weekends at the Tully Country Club and includes both evening and matinee shows.

Evening performances: Friday, 24 & 31 October (7pm).

Matinee performances: Saturday, 25 October and 1 November (2pm).
