Bowlers end up with hams
INNISFAIL Bowls Club men’s president Alf Strano hosted a ham day on 13 November which saw John Phillips, John O’Brien, George Edgerton and Rod McMillan declared the winners with a score of + 8 22, Sergio Dalla Pozza’s team finished as runners up, with +5 21 and Tony Burn’s team in third place with 0 21.

Winners of social bowls on 20 November were Sam Micale, Shane Dunne and Vince Cooper, while Geoff Jansen, Bill Hoskins, Doug Juhas and Joe Van Tienen finished as runners up.
On 6 November John Fossey, David Leach, Ted Pearce and David Cook were the winners of Thursday social bowls.
New members and visitors are most welcome to join in on Thursdays, with names to be in by 12.30pm for a 1pm start. The cost is $15, which includes two games of 12 ends, smoko and jackpot.
