Ms Letheby was one of just six Australians invited to compete and her performance earned her the coveted Ms Division Supreme title in the 30-39 age category, one of only 30 spots in the elite supreme ceremony.

She said the experience of standing on an international stage with Team Australia was unforgettable.

“During the red carpet awards, all of Team Australia walked away with awards, so to be there and cheer them on was amazing,” she said.

“Four Aussies were announced for the supreme crowning ceremony, and as each one was called, I cried my eyes out cheering them on.”

When her own name was announced, the moment was overwhelming.

“I waited nervously onstage and was pulled out for a supreme title.

“I cried and was shaking so much. To come offstage and be greeted by my fellow contestants, Team Australia, my brother, godson and sister-in-law was incredible.

“There is no better feeling than standing on an international stage representing your country and showing the world what we can achieve.”

Ms Letheby also collected an impressive list of awards: Lauren’s legacy honouree, divisional runway winner, 3rd runner-up top model, 1st runner-up photogenic, 1st runner-up print model, 1st runner-up spokesmodel, and people’s choice recognition.

The long running pageant, now in its 27th year, opened to international entrants for the first time in 2025.

Ms Letheby said pageants were widely misunderstood.

“They teach you so much, create everlasting friendships, teach charity and community work and help you grow and embrace who you are. Pageants can literally change and save your life.”

Her favourite section, national wear, featured a breathtaking hand-crafted costume celebrating Mission Beach and Australia.
