Crowded House rocks Cairns
CROWDED House, Guy Sebastion, Jimmy Carr, Suzi Quatro – the Cairns Convention Centre is hosting some of the biggest names in music and entertainment in FNQ with the excitement starting as early as October.

The legendary Crowded House will be arriving in Cairns on October 8 to kick off the start of their Australia Tour 2025 – Pop Up Shows, after their massive sold-out Australian tour last year to mark the release of Gravity Stairs. But be quick as tickets are being snapped up.
ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian will be embarking on his biggest national tour in April and May 2026 in celebration of his album, 100 Times Around The Sun, which will be released this month. (Friday August 8, 2025).
Fans can expect a set filled with Guy’s biggest hits, such as Battle Scars, Before I Go and Choir alongside new tracks from 100 Times Around The Sun, a soul-filled, heartfelt record brimming with optimism, perspective and signature Sebastian power vocals.
“I honestly can’t wait to get back on stage and perform these new songs live,” Guy said.
“This album is all about joy, perspective and connection and nothing brings that to life more than a live show.
“Touring is the most fulfilling part of what I do. I love seeing the power of music bring people together. It’s why I do this.”
And if anyone knows touring, the fabulous force of nature Suzi Quatro will be rocking the convention centre on Saturday November 1, performing all of her hits in a full two-hour show.
Suzi’s show was postponed due to heavy rainfall in February, but her unbridled energy, powerhouse vocals and band will be being her six-decades of performing for one night only.
Comedian extraordinaire, Jimmy Carr is going back on tour with his brand-new show ‘Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny’.
His fast-paced, dead-pan, edgy one-liners and a brilliantly quick mind have seen him host some of the best British comedy shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.
Jimmy’s dark brand of comedy is not for the faint-hearted, but those that know and love his work will not want to miss this likely sell-out show.
Tickets for all shows are available now through Ticketek
