Mr Bradley, who is the eldest of four, was born in Kingaroy and had two brothers and one sister, while Mrs Bradley, the second eldest in the Brown family, had two sisters and two brothers and was born in Ipswich.

Mrs Bradley lived in Ipswich where she completed her education, while Mr Bradley completed his schooling in Dalby.

In Ipswich, Mrs Bradley worked as a primary school teacher until her transfer to Dalby, and it was there where she met her husband-to-be.

Mr Bradley worked in finance at the Wambo shire office in Dalby before accepting a position as accountant at the Cardwell Shire office in Tully. He started in late March 1976 and retired in March 2002.

Their marriage took place on New Year’s Day 1966 in Ipswich and the couple have three children and six grandchildren.

They have been involved in community and sporting organisations, including Lions and the local ambulance committee.

At the Lions 201Q2 district convention held in Mission Beach last year, Mr Bradley, a member of Tully Lions Club, received recognition for 50 years of dedicated service, while his service to the local ambulance committee has spanned over 20 years.

Mrs Bradley has been involved in the Lions organisation for over 30 years.

The couple have been involved in lawn bowls, tennis, soccer and golf.
