Extraordinary volunteer
INNISFAIL State College’s Parents and Citizens’ Association has celebrated the outstanding contributions of long-time volunteer Yvonne Moule.

Ms Moule has been presented with a special award in recognition of her decades of service to the school community.
She has been a familiar face around local schools for many years, giving her time generously across a wide range of roles.
Her commitment to supporting students, staff and families is truly exceptional and her efforts have left a lasting impact on the Innisfail education community.
Her journey of service began at Mundoo State School, where she devoted countless hours to P&C, school events and sporting programs.
In 2019, Ms Moule received recognition of her tireless efforts with life membership at Mundoo State School.
Beyond her work with the P&C, she has also made a significant mark in school sports.
For 23 years, she volunteered as a softball coach at Mundoo State School, a role she is still involved with. Her enthusiasm, encouragement and love for the game have inspired generations of young players.
Ms Moule ’s dedication earned her state recognition with the Queensland Premier’s appreciation award for outstanding contribution to school sport and community engagement.
Furthermore, she has spent over 30 years volunteering in school tuckshops, first at Innisfail State High School and now at Innisfail State College greeting students with a friendly smile and a nutritious meal.
