Fishing Classic dream day out

KURRIMINE Beach Fishing Club can be proud to say that this year’s fishing classic was an amazing success. The weather was great, the fishing was awesome and the catch was varied across all categories.

For the spearfishing category, enthusiasts registered coral trout, crayfish, reef jack, spanish mackerel, stripey and tusk fish.

For the general fishing category, anglers proudly weighed in with barramundi, barred grunter, bream, cobia, coral trout, flathead, large mouth nannygai, mud crab, red emperor, small mouth nannygai, spangled emperor, spotted mackerel, whiting (junior only).

Some amazing catches were hauled in from boats, beach and spearfishing and the events of the evening including food, raffles, entertainment and awards went of without a hitch and were enjoyed by everyone.
