Families get ready for fun day
KURRIMINE Beach is gearing up for a huge day of family entertainment, live music, activities and prizes when family fun day takes over the Kurrimine Beach Progress Association hall on Saturday 19 September 2026.

Running from 11am to 8pm, the event promises something for the whole family, including a big raffle with a total prize pool of $21,497.
Raffle highlights include a Garmin Quatix 8 watch, an ARB 60L fridge with a transit bag, a Garmin Fusion speaker kit, a Garmin eTrex SE GPS, an Evacool 132L Esky, a Weber Baby Q, and a Garmin prize pack.
A fishing club spokeswoman said the major prize, set to be a crowd favourite, was a CFMOTO 600 ATV (all terrain vehicle) finished in blue and fitted with a snorkel kit, seat covers, front bumper assembly and flip-out windshield.
“Music throughout the day will be provided by Electric Dreamers and Andy G, creating the perfect atmosphere for a day of community fun,” she said.
“There will also be door prizes for adults and kids up for grabs, along with plenty of swag giveaways.
“Kids can enjoy fishing-related activities with prizes, as well as a dedicated kids station featuring rock painting, colouring-in and bubbles.
“Giant lawn games including Cornhole, Connect 4 and Jenga will keep families entertained, while food vendors will be on hand to keep everyone fuelled.”
Tickets for the raffle are $5 each and can only be bought in person. The last registration for raffle tickets is at 4pm, with the prize draw taking place at 5pm.
