Friday Sporters competition - 23 January

1st: Luke Peters 21pts

2nd: Terry Young 19pts c/b

3rd: Jack Johnston 19pts

Players took to the course for the single-stroke 18-hole competition held on Saturday, 24 January.

The morning groups had most of the run down, with the afternoon groups claiming four spots. Andrew Rose and Darren Ritchie played well for -1, whilst Peter Milani continued his great run of late with another 2 under his handicap at -2.

The story of the morning was Andrew Grieve. After a less than impressive Friday competition, he put together a stellar round, which could be a personal best and finished the clubhouse leader after play.

The afternoon groups tried their hardest and finished the day’s play with a slight shower. Damian King and Jack Johnston tied on +1, while Paul Tattam put together a good round to tie with Andrew Rose and Darren Ritchie on -1.

1st: Andrew Grieve -4

2nd: Peter Milani -2

3rd: Darren Ritchie -1
