Innisfail Open overall men’s champ Andrew Rose
THE 2026 Innisfail Open delivered a huge weekend of golf, camaraderie and top tier competition, with players praising the pristine condition of the course and organisers celebrating one of the strongest events in recent years.
With visitors filling the fairways and volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes, the two day event produced excellent scores across all grades.
Andrew Rose claimed the title of overall men’s champion with an impressive 142.

B-grade 1st: Michael Power 156, 2nd: Terry Young 161
C-grade 1st: Shane Trembath 182, 2nd: Gary Breikreutz 183.

Behind the scenes, volunteers worked tirelessly to prepare the course and facilities, ensuring the event ran smoothly.
Their dedication was evident in the immaculate condition of the greens and fairways, widely praised by players throughout the weekend.
With strong participation, excellent scores and a welcoming atmosphere, the 2026 Innisfail Open once again showcased the spirit and strength of the local golfing community. The club thanked their sponsors, volunteers, participants and supporters.
