Let’s do better business
CASSOWARY Coast Regional Council’s procurement team are hosting an online ‘Doing Business with Council’ session on Thursday 19 March from 6pm to 7pm AEST.
The session is designed to provide local suppliers with greater clarity and confidence in navigating council’s procurement processes and improve the quality of submissions when engaging with council.
The session will focus on two core areas:
Accessing council opportunities – how suppliers can identify and respond to opportunities, including an overview of VendorPanel and the steps required to register, monitor, and submit responses effectively
Improving submission quality – guidance on how suppliers can strengthen their tender responses.
Among information to be discussed, are steps taken by council in advertising anticipated projects for the financial year, understanding procurement policy principles, thresholds, and requirements, insights into how tenders are structured order requirements and accounts payable.
