Milani storms home
INNISFAIL Golf Club’s 18 hole stableford on 25 July delivered one of the most impressive rounds of the season, with Peter Milani storming home on 42 points to claim a commanding win after sinking a pressure packed four foot putt for 80, a moment that sent the clubhouse roaring.

Saturday’s field enjoyed a rare ‘play it as it lies’ round, and the top performers made the most of the conditions. Ryan Turnbull set an early benchmark with 37 points, before Jasper Curzon pushed ahead with 39. Milani’s superb left hand swing kept building momentum, and his final putt sealed the day’s highest score.
In the afternoon groups, Craig Alman putted brilliantly to finish on 39 points, but Milani’s total remained untouchable.
