New boss at Tully sugar mill
THE new chief executive officer of Tully Sugar, Wei (Darcy) Li, will lead the company “into the next centenary”, says board chairman Andrew Wu.

Mr Wu said Mr Li, who joined the company in January, was “very well credentialled to succeed as the chief executive officer”.
“Darcy has previously worked in Tully Sugar and has built strong ties to the industry and our community,” he said in a company statement.
The former commercial manager for Tully Sugar, Mr Li has more than a decade of experience within COFCO Sugar, China’s leading sugar business, and with senior roles spanning Australia, Hong Kong and mainland China.
His career covers sugar milling operations, international sugar trading, risk management, and large-scale capital and operational governance.
