MISSION Beach Rotary have scheduled important renewal works for the Mission Beach splash pad.

The splash pad will be temporarily closed from Monday, 12 October 2026, for about two weeks to undertake necessary repainting and maintenance works.
A Cassowary Coast Regional Council spokeswoman said the duration of works would depend upon the weather and council would keep the community updated on the completion of works and re-opening date.

She thanked the Rotary club for their involvement in maintaining the water play area.
