School holiday theatre fun at Innisfail Shire Hall
GET ready for a magical day of live theatre as the Catbird Theatre Company brings two enchanting performances to the Innisfail Shire Hall on Friday 3 July.

Perfect for the whole family, ‘The Party’ from 10.30 am, invites children aged 18 months to five years to join Sweetie the swamp wallaby and her friends for a delightful mix of puppets, sensory play and gentle audience interaction.
Sweetie the swamp wallaby is getting ready for a big surprise – her joey is about to emerge from her pouch. Luckily, she has her friends Edna the echidna and Maggie the magpie to help her.
Later in the day, ‘Stark Raven Mad’ from 1pm, captivates audiences aged six and up with an award-winning blend of puppetry, costumes, music and movement, bringing classic gothic poetry by Edgar Allan Poe, Lewis Carroll and Emily Dickinson to life. Stark Raven Mad is dark and funny, but also delightful and a bit absurd. It takes the audience through a poetical journey bringing to life gothic poems using puppets, costumes, movement and theatre.
