This year 38 bowlers competed on the Tully green in warm conditions and everyone enjoyed a fantastic day of bowls with great camaraderie topped off with afternoon tea.

Competition was fierce but Tully had a convincing win over Macknade and claimed the Tully-Macknade shield back, a proud moment for the club as they have not lifted the trophy since 2021.

The rivalry on the green is always fierce and the two clubs have battled it out for the Tully-Macknade shield since 2007 which was donated by Dr Bob Woodford.

Since then, Tully have won the shield six times and Macknade 11 times, with no competition played in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
