Strict rules: men must wear a dress or skirt
ORGANISERS of the annual charity golf day ‘Hit4@Tit’ are calling all teams who wish to play a nine-hole four-ball Ambrose event next month.
The event will take place on Sunday 11 October at the El Arish Country Club and will support local cancer nurses.
“Ladies (and gents who must wear a skirt or dress) are encouraged to dress up for the event and come up with a witty team name to be in the running for prizes,” the organisers said.
“From teeing off from the nip, to swinging with the opposite hand, players can be guaranteed of a fun-filled day with lots of belly laughs,” they said. “There are only 20 teams able to play, so nominate now and help keep our local cancer care nurses doing the amazing job they do.”
The cost is $50 which includes lunch.
Teams of four must register by 30 September.

Prizes include first to fourth place as well as the last place team, best dressed team, lucky door prizes, nearest to the pin and the longest drive.
The sign-on starts at 8.30am with a 9am tee-off.
Lunch is from noon.
