Winning personal bests

THIRTY-seven players battled it out in the Single Stableford competition on 14 February.

Andrew Rose achieved seven birdies, with just a few bogeys preventing a fantastic score, while Darren Ritchie put in a great round to tie with Rose on one under the card.

The round of the day went to Jack Johnston. After a mediocre start Johnston brought it home on the back nine with two under to finish with 71 off the stick, and outstanding personal best of 10 shots under his handicap.

3rd: Ian Saunderson 38 pts

The single stroke 18-hole competition on 21 February saw 20 players tee off in the morning groups.

Steven Marsh and Ryan Thwaite tied on one under. Dazza backed up with another good round to finish two under. Alan Cooper and Ian Street both finished on three under. John Casale was clubhouse leader at four under.

Caine Cockle had a stellar game to finish seven under.
